The Water Faucet Repair And Replacemnet Page -
Taking a look at faucet knowledge 101

When buying a faucet, buy one that is made by a well-known manufacturer. The faucet won't be the least expensive choice, but will make it a lot easier to find replacement parts when the time comes. Your better faucets have bodies made of solid brass. Most washerless models have a lifetime warranty and the manufacturer will generally send you new parts - free of charge, and in most cases will even pay the postage.

Besides the price, what are the differences between high end and low end faucets? Many people go for the "style" of a faucet, but the real difference is "Quality". Expensive faucets have the solid brass bodies that we were talking about and the cartridges are leakproof. Cheap faucets are made of plastic and pot-metal and are literally disposable. The consideration for a faucet should be where it is going to be used and how often it is going to be used.

Faucets are just like anything else, because they go in and out of style. If your faucet looks bother you, then you should possibly replace them. Older faucets are also hard to find replacement parts for.

I am sure that at least once in your life, you have been woken up by the "drip, drip, drip" of a leaky faucet.
